Welcome to naturescapes, I'm a NYC based aquarist that has been designing and building paludariums for the past twelve years. A paludarium differs from an aquarium by incorporating both aquatic and terrestrial elements. My designs are  maintenance free, and require no filtration. Plants and also the media used to fill the islands will keep the water crystal clear.
